endorphining like mad...compounded by lack of sleep. can't focus. almost didn't go this morning, but i've never been sorry for having run. decided to push with the ipod. first song at 12.5, second at 13, third at 13.5, then come down again. five songs=5k, roughly. achieved the incline...flatlined on the decline. couldn't come down from 13.5 to 13 (flatfooting)...dropped all the way to 12, where i ran the rest (1.8k). 23:40 5k. how the mighty have fallen...in london, i used to go from 13 to 14 and stay at 14 for the rest. oh well, still a good change of pace (punny).
thinking about it tho, it means my 12 paced runs don't even elicit endorphins...truly cruising. my feet are the only things showing accrued damage. if i take a day off, it'll be because my feet hurt. i don't mind cruising. it's a good routine.
