didn't do anything thurs or fri (because i had to stay at the office till 2 am on thurs). sat did 3 classes at pure (body pump, yoga, stability ball). my arms were dead by the time i got to stability ball. a little disappointed in the body pump...thought i'd be more aerobic. instead it's a lot of lifting to music.

bumped into a female coworker in the pb class...that was a bit awkward. she suggested having a weight loss competition. weight loss is not a goal...one should eat healthy because it feels good.

sunday did 30 min elliptical before playign beach ulty.

today my hamstrings are really sore, and i won't go to the gym because of an office xmas party (yes, another one).

yesterday:

did tuesday week 2 pb and strength...pb pushups are hard! i dont' feel anything in my arms today, but i'm wary of the second day sore (stinker!). abs are still sore from like three days ago. then did 30 min relaxed elliptical (resistance 9) while chatting with bri and alicia. time flies when you're talking about frisbee.

before gyming i ate three chocolate bars. i have absolutely no self control. none. and then after gyming, bri and i went to a sketchy but famous noodle stand. they messed up my order so i ate the pig knuckle soup noodle (not bad, incidentally). then went home and finished building my knock-off lego pirate ship while gnashing on the chocolate covered apricots that alicia gave me (she also bought me a bart simpson kinder surprise! SURPRISE!). incidentally i stayed up way later than i was supposed to and didn't gym this morning. didn't shower either. yay me! i think i'm gonna take tonight off and go back to morning gym schedule tomorrow. i'm sleep-dep exhausted...but i like it cuz it reminds me of mit.

yesterday: spinning class in the morning with alicia. more intense than elliptical for sure...i sweat so much that my towel was soaked. maybe next time i'll bring two.

ate: english breakfast tea, wonton noodle soup, lots of peanut candy, some pocky, 2 apples, mcD fish filet happy meal with choc milk shake and apple pie, half a large popcorn.

today: nothing so far in anticipation of disc, but disc canceled due to rain, so planning a gym session with alicia and brian...still haven't touched a day of core fitness...but it's still in the first three weeks. maybe we'll lift.

ate: duck and squid congee, two pocky sticks, 1 gummy candy, 1 fermented rice dessert, 1 guava. (sofar...duh duh duh).

my thirst is indominatable (sp?). drank >5L water already today. eating makes me feel really really tired...what's wrong with me? maybe it's winter in general that makes me feel like shit and not just mit.

foot still isn't healed, but getting better. am now working towards correcting my gait so that when i can run on my toes again, i will. too tired this morning for the gym, slept in. ate lunch around 5:30 pm: roast beef sub and tom yum soup from fontaine, even then, i wasn't really hungry...just felt obliged and a bit shaky. i haven't been hungry in 3 days. what gives? then got home and ate a couple of cookies and chocolate peanuts (other consumed=1 guava, 1 japanese cracker, 1 piece peanut candy, 1 square of chocolate, 1 parmesan bread stick). 6 L of water so far.

gym tonight=30 min elliptical (roughly 3.5 miles if i count the cooldown), then lifted a bit. the machines here are terrific. very smooth and almost guarantee good form. did 3 sets of 8 pulling the bar thingy towards me to work my back (technical, i know). 2 sets of 15 squats with 30 kg on the bar. 2 sets of 10 hip abductors mixed with 15 hip aductors. 100 physioball situps. 10 pb things where you draw your feet in. 15 pb hamstring thingies. 5 pb pushups. and now i'm shaky and gonna go home and sleep. lifting felt really good.

pui is competing with me in calorie intake. i will squash her into the ground while pretending i'm not trying. she asked me three times today whether i've had lunch yet. and then when i told her i forgot around 5 pm, she said, "oh good!"

introduced my haircut to the gym. 3 miles on the elliptical at resistance 10, took me over 30 min...watched my first episode of entourage...maybe i won't move to california after all...sadly, i actually got an ok workout over it. today is the first day in 3 weeks. well, the first week was perth, so that's a legit excuse, and then i gave myself a week off to let my knee heal, and last week my foot was fucked up. actually, my foot still is fucked up...and i think playing on it sunday wasn't the smartest idea, but i'm not sorry. i need to get back on a steady gym schedule. not least of all because it takes fucking forever to get my gas tank changed (so i can't use too much hot water at home).

i heckled brian because he was throwing on the sidelines with adeline, but he traveled on every throw. like he was drawing arcs in the dirt, and he wasn't sorry or trying or anything to correct it. i can't handle it when ppl play undisciplined ultimate, especially when they know better. it just makes me feel like lucy van horn. anyways, he asked me if there was anythign wrong, and why i was being so edgy...and i told him nothing and i wasn't, but he didn't believe me. in retrospect, i shoudl've just made fun of him more in response. anyways, i was vindicated, because he turfed four throws in the last hour or so of play, and i'm convinced it's cuz he's used to dragging his foot while he throws, so if he's actually trying to keep his foot stationary, he bends at the waist to compensate. practice what you play, people!

oh, and even while injured, i ran adeline around in circles. i got open at will, which is actually something i'm quite proud of, considering i can't put weight on my left foot...like running from the line to play d, i had to do a skip-hop sorta thing.
